What is Internet Marketing Advertising?

June 12th, 2009 No comments

The modern variation of the practice of paying finder’s-fees for the introduction of new clients to a business is a popular method of internet marketing advertising called affiliate marketing. An affiliate marketer is paid for every visitor, subscriber, or customer provided to an Internet business because of his efforts. The affiliate marketer earns compensation based on a certain value for each visit (Pay per click), registrant (Pay per lead), or a commission for each customer or sale (Pay per Sale), or any combination.

You can see where an affiliate marketer would be sorely tempted to send out email advertising the products he makes money on for promoting. This resulted in so much SPAM being generated that anti-spam laws were enacted. Spammers are severely fined and the newest twist in the anti-spam laws are that the merchants whose affiliates spam are being held responsible for the spamming as well. So caution is well advised when actively involved in internet marketing advertising.

Merchants who are considering adding an affiliate strategy to their online sales channel should research the different technological solutions available to them. As affiliate marketing has matured many affiliate merchants have refined their terms and conditions to prohibit affiliates from spamming. Some types of affiliate management solutions include: standalone software, hosted services, shopping carts with affiliate features, and third party affiliate networks.

Spamdexing or search engine spamming is the practice of deliberately creating web pages which will be indexed by search engines in order to increase the chance of a website or page being placed close to the beginning of search engine results, or to influence the category to which the page is assigned.

Right now there is a lot of debate about the internet marketing advertising practice of Spamdexing and many affiliates have converted from sending email spam to creating large volumes of automatically generated web pages each devoted to different niche keywords as a way of search engine optimizing their sites. This is sometimes referred to as spamming the search engine results. Spam is the biggest threat to organic Search Engines whose goal is to provide quality search results for keywords or phrases entered by their users.

3 Killer Ways to Make Money Online with PLR

June 10th, 2009 No comments

Content makes the world go round. At least in the “world wide web” it does. The problem is that it’s darned hard to sit and write content all day, and it’s expensive to hire someone else to write it.

So, what’s an Internet Marketer to do?

Private Label Rights (PLR) to the Rescue!

If you’re working online, you’ve likely heard buzz about PLR or “Private Label Rights” content. If not, where have you been hiding? Fortunately you are reading this article because it is so easy to make money online with PLR.  If you aren’t familiar with PLR products, basically they are digital items (articles, e-books, etc.) that are provided in a file that you can edit and use in various ways. How’s that for vague? The reason the description is so vague is that PLR content can be found in many forms:

1. Articles

2. Pre-written newsletters or e-zines

3. Small Reports

4. Full Length e-books

5. Website templates

6. Audios and even videos

Basically, anything that you can download on the Internet is being sold as PLR.

The second part of my definition “can edit and use in various ways” is also vague because each PLR service includes their own unique rules. Most PLR sites allow you to edit the items as you wish, and use the content in your own projects. However, they usually do not allow you to sell PLR rights to others to do the same.

Translation: You can use the PLR product for your own uses, but you can not sell or give the product to others. (Read the rules with any PLR you purchase as they can vary greatly.)

To simplify things, we’ll focus on PLR articles, reports and e-books. Basically, written content. PLR solves the two problems stated above.

1. Not having enough TIME to write the content you need.

2. Not having enough MONEY to hire a quality writer for all your content needs.

PLR is like having ghost-written content that you share with a group of people. It’s not, by any means, a perfect solution, but it can save you time and money. Plus, anyone with motivation and some skills can turn that content into cash, it’s that easy to make money online with PLR.

Once you understand the concept behind PLR items, you can see the appeal. Most people can envision the value of adding the content to their websites. But, did you know there are more ways to use PLR articles than that?

So, where can you find PLR?

If you are completely new to the PLR scene, check out:

www.EasyPLR.com – Quality Niche Articles!

Whether you’re new to PLR or whether you’ve got a hard drive full of PLR that’s sitting unused, here are some ways to turn PLR into cash.

1. Blog Posts.

Got a blog? Who doesn’t these days?

Blogs are a great way to build a relationship with your readers, get the search engines to love you, and actively promote your own products or services to people who are interested in what you have to say. Blogs and PLR go together like macaroni and cheese. Here’s how…

Use your PLR articles or reports to fill up your blog with quality content. Simply take an article that contains 5 or 10 tips and insert each one into separate blog entries. Write a personal intro to each. Insert some product recommendations, affiliate links, links to your own products, or adsense to monetize the posts and you’re set.

Tip: If you’re using WordPress, this process is even easier. Schedule the messages to autopost every few days while you’re on vacation or working on other projects.

Of course, because the search engines value unique content over duplicate content, you’llwant to “change it up” a bit and personalize or customize the blog posts to your target audience.

Translation: You don’t want your blog posts to be exactly the same as the other members. If every member of the PLR site copies and pastes the same article into their blogs or websites, too, yours won’t be unique. So spend a few minutes changing it up – and, more importantly, adding more to the blog posts.

2. Newsletter Content.

Need content for your newsletter list? PLR articles can be the perfect answer. Of course, if you’re developing a relationship with your readers, you will want to rewrite them a little to match your own writing style (otherwise, it may sound like you copied and pasted PLR content into your newsletter which isn’t cool).

However, you can pull a section from a PLR article – use it as inspiration — and whip out a newsletter in minutes.

3. Instant e-course.

If you purchase a package of PLR articles based on a theme, it’s quite easy to turn them into an ecourse simply by adding them to your autoresponder. Something as simple as “5 Recipes from around the world” can become a 5 day e-course to grow a big newsletter list.

7 Easy Ways to Increase Your Web Traffic Rankings

June 10th, 2009 No comments

Internet. Business. Profit. To fully integrate all of these words successful you will need another word. Traffic. Every article you will find about making your site or company successful always includes the importance of increasing your web traffic rankings. This is a key factor in the success of an online business and there are some simple steps you can take to ensure you maximise your potential.

So, we all know that at the heart of an online business, traffic is one of the most essential factors in your success. Aside from ensuring that you have a great product to sell, and have well written sales letter as well as delivering useful and pertinent content, the only thing holding you back is getting your site up the web traffic rankings.

If you already have a site and you are not getting the traffic that you want, then its time to take action and make the necessary change to ensure your business is a success. If you are operating in this very competitive arena, then you should always be one step ahead of your competition, increasing your web traffic rankings should be at the top of your “to-do” list.

To help you boost your web traffic rankings and get to that number 1 spot in the search rankings, here are some seven sure-fire ways to releasing your potential.

1) Ensure your web pages are effectively optimised

Search engine optimisation is an art and no matter what anyone tells you, no one knows the Google or Yahoo algorithms except them!! So, what can you do to increase your chances? Well, here are a couple of pointers:

a) Include your keywords in the title tag and domain name if possible

b) Include your keywords with a short and snappy description of your site in the meta description tag.

c) Include your keywords in the meta keyword tag.

d) Include your keywords in the body of the page a couple of times (but don’t over do it or you may be penalised)

Follow these simple steps and your off to a good start and are ready for some more advance techniques.

2) Exchange or trade links with other sites

Both parties can benefit greatly from the exchange of links, especially with complimentary products. This has the double benefit of providing you with additional traffic as well as increasing the number of links back to your site – which is rewarded by Google.

3) Use viral marketing

Viral marketing allows you to spread the word about your company and product either without any costs or at very low costs. This is a marketing method that can be extremely effective; you would attach your company’s name, product or link to a piece of media such as a funny video, entertaining game, an interesting article which will generate a certain amount of gossip or buzz. With this method the traffic potential can simply explode overnight.

5) Write and submit articles

Submit articles to directories providing useful information about your market. For example, if you sell car parts then write articles about cars, attaching a link to your product or service for more information.

6) Join forums and form online communities

Join these forums and communities and write posts or respond to others to demonstrate your knowledge of the market. When people start to build up trust in your opinions they will come to check out your website.

7) Lastly, Offer newsletters

If many people know what you are about and look forward to receiving the excellent free information that you provide, you will find a loyal flow of traffic that can provide you with solid sales leads and even more traffic by recommendation.

By implementing these simple steps you can easily drive up your web traffic rankings and make your way to the number 1 spot!! If you would like more information on how to increase your web traffic rankings then visit www.easyincomegenerator.com

Start your own Business in Less than a Week

June 10th, 2009 No comments

Some people will tell you that there is no one secret key to how to start your own business. They say that if you start your own business, you’re going to have to work hard, and you might not succeed. Most business entrepreneurs will say to you that working hard is the biggest part of how to start up a small business. There is no other way to do it. Just learning how to promote a business is an art in and of itself, and that doesn’t even get to the nitty-gritty of owning and operating one.

To some extent, these people are correct. If someone more experienced in the field had not taken me under his wing, I might never have become the success that I am today.

There are many pitfalls when you start your own business and the main risk is losing your life’s savings in one venture. Setting up a business can also be a very time consuming activity. Well, thanks to the birth of the internet, you can avoid this risk as is now possible to get your own business up and running in a matter of days and at a cost of virtually nothing.

These days there are literally tens of thousands of internet millionaires who, with barely any technical knowledge, set up a business online, quit their day jobs and now spend their time relaxing on the beach with their families. To some, this seems impossible but believe me when I say this is no joke and in fact, it is so simple that it is surprising that many more do not follow in their steps.

Many would discount this career choice as a scam and something which is not sustainable but in fact the opposite is true. The whole business model is around selling your own or someone else’s product and while most sales are being affected by the current economic climate, sales of products on the internet currently appear to be some what “recession-proof”.

There are many ways to start your own business money online and many of the ways you will see advertised are in fact a complete scam. I spent years searching through thousands of pages of information but I have uncovered some of the secret techniques these internet millionaires are using to make an absolute fortune.

The key ways, as I mentioned before are selling your own or someone else’s product. To sell your own product is not as difficult as it first seems. There are many ways to obtain articles and reports on every type of subject you could imagine which can, in some cases, be re-branded and sold on. This is big business and can net vast amounts of money.

A second, and more straight forward method of making money on the internet is by joining an affiliate program and promoting someone else’s product. This is easier to set up but clearly less lucrative as you would only receive a portion of the profits.

This type of person involved in these types of activities is often called an Internet Marketer. If you want to find out more about how to start your own business online then look at www.easyincomegenerator.com

How to Powerfully Combine E-books and Affiliate Programs

June 9th, 2009 No comments

Some e-books combine very well with an affiliate program. When the affiliate receives some extra benefit from promoting the viral message, like being able to brand your E-book with his affiliate links, the affiliate makes a sale when a reader buys through a branded link. You benefit from increased traffic on your website because the affiliate is willing to promote the e-books for you.

Be absolutely certain that your message includes a clear call to action. There shouldn’t be any doubt whatsoever about what you intend recipients to do. Make sure that the instructions are perfectly clear so that recipients know HOW to act. The action that you require should be simple and obvious as well. Don’t make things complicated or it will confuse the reader, such as by adding numerous links.

Remember the K.I.S.S. principle: Keep It Simple Stupid! The incentive should be clear to those you want to take an action. Readers will look at your offering for about seven seconds before they move on. If it takes longer than that for them to figure out what it is you want them to do, they will move on. Don’t make your message vague or difficult to comprehend. If you do, chances are you will lose them. You must respect your readers enough to express your message clearly.

Once you are sure you have an e-book that will be of value to an affiliate program, approach them with your idea and be able to show that it will be mutually beneficial.

Viral Marketing using e-books is one of many techniques that all together have a cumulative effect in attracting customers and subscribers to your business and in attracting targeted visitors to your website. You will very soon find out that this is an excellent way of increasing sales, subscribers and referrals.

The Secrets of using Information Publishing to Become a Millionaire

June 8th, 2009 No comments

If you can either write articles or have the promotion and marketing knowledge to publicize articles that others write, becoming an affiliate for several companies may be a great way for you to generate a huge income and may be the first steps for you to become a millionaire. You can do this by receiving part of the revenue from of sales that the company gets from people who “click through” from your website via the company’s links that are placed on your pages.

Since you will be promoting a product or service, you will need a killer sales pitch and website content to get your readers interested in the product, convince them that they cannot live without the product, and to keep them coming back to your website time and time again for more recommendations and your useful content, which will get them clicking on your links once again. Although many affiliate companies only give you money from the first sale you make from each customer, you have the option of promoting a good range of companies so that you can still make a profit off of your returning customers which will help to build a solid income and edge you towards your dream to become a millionaire.

If you cannot write this kind of content of your own, there are many ways to pick up free or paid content to place on your affiliate website. There are many reasons why paying for such articles would be to your advantage. First, you will be able to tell the writer exactly what you want, what product you are trying to sell, and what direction they can go in to keep your readers interested and informed. On the other hand, when you search for free content, you are limited to what is already out there. Secondly, you will own the copyright to this content. That means that no one else can reuse it without your consent. If you opt for free content, you will be sharing that content with an unknown amount of other affiliate websites, plus the original author will be able to place their by-line at the bottom of the article which could result in them stealing your traffic.

There are many products that have nice affiliate commission rates for those who know how to pre-sale their product and deliver click through customers who are ready to buy. As long as you choose to promote a product or service that can be very useful to a wide variety of people, then pre-selling your chosen company may not be that hard at all. The key in this situation may likely be getting those customers to your website so that they have a chance to see your recommendations and click on your affiliate links.

The Beginner’s Introduction to Internet Email Marketing

June 8th, 2009 No comments

Viral internet email marketing is an integral part of a campaign strategy that is used to achieve objectives. It is not the objective itself. If the main objective of an e-mail campaign is branding, in order to achieve greater branding success exposure you craft your message or offer in a way that it encourages pass-along.

Producing a message with a quality offer or an incentive for pass-along is what viral marketing is all about.

Just suggesting that e-mail recipients forward your message to their friends and relatives is not viral marketing. A message at the bottom of your e-mail that reads “Feel free to forward this message to a friend” is nowhere close to viral marketing at its best.

On the other hand, if something worthy of sharing, such as a valuable discount, vital information, additional entries into a sweepstakes, an added discount or premium service, a joke/cartoon, or a hilarious video, is included in the e-mail, viral marketing happens naturally and quite successfully.

The bottom line is that your message must be perceived as having value or else your viral internet email marketing campaign will not be successful. Relevant or timely information, research, or studies are all good examples of content that might be viewed as potential pass-along material. Interactive content like a quiz or text can inspire forwarding, especially if it is fun. Personality tests, fitness quizzes, or compatibility questionnaires are all things that have been passed on by many people many times. Why? Because they are entertaining and entertainment has value.

A multimedia experience is always going to achieve some pass-along. Someone is always touting the benefits. It is a bit more of a time and money investment but the messages have a great appeal and rich media has the advantage of being new. The tech factor alone is often enough for the message to be perceived as valuable.

3 Easy Steps to Start an Internet Home Based Business

June 8th, 2009 No comments

Okay, so you want to start an internet home based business? You have been reading up about it for a while and you are ready to take those first tentative steps! You have finally realised that what you need is a good opt-in list. After reading countless articles and sought expert advices and have read many success stories of people creating a small fortune with opt-in lists you have finally decided to have one of your own. Then it happens, you think you know everything there is to know about opt-in lists and have followed all the advice you have obtained to the letter and you just aren’t able to make any money!

In fact, you may be losing money. You maybe hiring writers to help you out, or you may have other expenses. Even if you have a big list, maybe only a very small percentage actually buys from you, so you’re still losing money.

So what could have gone wrong? Why have others succeeded where you have failed? The most common mistake is diving straight in without fully researching your market. Just because you are writing to people on your list necessarily doesn’t mean they are going to buy form you instantly.

Here is some advice for those who have started an opt-in list and have not been as successful as hoped or for those just embarking on their internet marketing career. Here are three quick and easy ways to build a profitable opt-in list.

1) Get your customers to trust you and your products! Just launching your opt-in list would not make you an expert and a believable seller. Publish as many articles as can first, before you start an opt-in list. Write about the topic you are marketing to demonstrate your knowledge of the subject. Post to put forums first, and you will gain invaluable knowledge about your customers and their needs then you can target those needs.

Also post replies on forums to provide expert advices and recommendations. When you feel that people trust you, you will then be able to start your own opt-in list. You can use the contacts you have made through the forums to build a solid base by asking them to join your list and provide feedback and comments. Friends are always good customers and critics too. Put up a link to your site so that they may be able to see what you’re business is all about and help support you.

The certain truth is, the money will only come in when the consumers and subscribers believe and trust in you. They want a product or service that is value for money. People are not going to buy something out of your recommendation if they don’t know you.

2) Find a product or service that people want and need. Although it may not be your forte, if you provide a service and product that you have researched then you can easily sell in that market. Invest your time, effort and money in something that you can sell as well as something the buyers or subscribers of your opt-in list can use.

While it is true that it is best to sell something that you have interest in, there are not always many people who have the same interest as you and so it may not necessarily be a good choice of market to operate in. Do your research well and you will see the profits roll in. Also provide your subscribers with promotional material that they will actually use and spread around, providing good quality content is one of the key factors.

3) Make friends with other opt-in list users. This is basically beneficial especially if it is someone who has already launched a successful opt-in list. These are people who have experience in this area and experience is vital to learn from. While there are many articles available on the internet, there is nothing like getting a first hand account from someone you trust.

Experienced opt-in list users will be able to tell you what to do and what not to do because they have gone through it. There are many things to avoid and these people will be able to tell you which ones.

Building a profitable opt-in list doesn’t just happen overnight. It takes time and effort and so if things aren’t going very well, don’t be scared to make changes. Opt-in lists are built from scratch, as your list grows, you should also maintain the quality of your list. Keep it organized and manageable. Get or hire help if need be, just make sure that your subscribers are happy and satisfied and they will be willing to buy from you.
